God is more than a name. He is more than a concept. He is more than a myth. He is the creator, ruler, and father of all nations. That just sound like more words, so how can you tell the difference?
When you know who God is, He becomes more. It is like you see the world in a new way. It doesn't mean that anything else has changed and that you may not slip back into old way occasionally. It just means life and the world around you has a new meaning. It puts song into your heart. It emboldens you to bless the world around you, proclaim who He is, and declare your allegiance.
God is great in the biggest way. He put fear into those that fear the false gods. It is because He is not an idol. He is alive, strong, and the source of all beauty. Look at the world around you and appreciate all He has done. Recognize His majesty, strength, beauty, and the gifts that He has given you.
God is Holy. His holiness brings splendor into the world. He has the power to reshape the world and have it do anything He wants: earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, and more. Yet it is established. He may reorganize occasionally, but the world is solid. Until the end, He will not transform it again. We can trust this because He loves us.
Celebrate that God is the King of all the nations. That He is in control of the world. Rejoice because He is just. Allow joy into your heart because He loves you. Be righteous, so that when God does judge the world you can face Him. Be faithful so that you can be confident and not easily deceived.
