When organization is removed from a project, it turns to chaos. Some people work well in chaos, but when you are working in a group setting it is disaster. Everyone who has an opinion ties to take over and time is spent calming situations more than getting anything accomplished.
When organization returns to a situation, then the work environment changes. There is usually open hostility until things are set into place. Once the boundaries are set and people understand their role, things become productive.
Ezra was basically priesthood royalty. His bloodline took him back to Aaron. He left Babylon for Jerusalem, but not in the first wave. He did return during King Artaxerses' reign. God's hand was with him as he taught the people. He was determined to study, understand, obey, and teach God's Law.
It took Ezra five months to get to Jerusalem. He was sent with the king's blessing and letter. The king also gave him money because he feared God's wrath if he did not treat Ezra well. Ezra used wisdom in handling all of that.
God gave Ezra courage to do what he needed to do because he was basically going to Jerusalem to shake things up and bring back God's organization. That would not be an easy task because it invites strong opposition. Lucky for him, he had a king to encourage him. We can do anything that God directs, but it sure is nice to have people encourage you along the way.
