God's Love

 

    God's love is secure, solid, and simple.  We make it complicated.  He created us to be with us.  We push Him away by choosing sin over Him.  He misses us as we walk away from Him.  However, as soon as we repent He forgets all of our sin and moves forward with the relationship.  All that He ask is for us to show our love for Him through obedience.  It is actually a gift because it gives us a fulfilled life. 

    When your heart hurts over sin, then you can really start seeing the purity of God's love for you.  It can't be forced.  It can't be done through determination.  It can't be faked.  It is truly a vulnerable heart and love thing.  When you see sin for what it is, it puts a justified fear in the heart that gives your life a since of urgency.  

    The evil of the world wants to destroy or at least hide God's love.  It lies to you and tell you what you want to hear verses what is actually true.  Evil does not have your best interest in mind.  Instead, it focuses on having you reject God and His love.  It will take you down a path to a physical death, but also an eternal death.

    God is faithful, righteous, and just.  His love may not bring riches, but it is priceless.  He loves abundantly.  He loves us more than what we deserve.  His love gives us life and purpose.  When you accept His love, it keeps evil out of your mind and heart.  

    You can love and obey, but unless you truly accept His love you can't have that peace.  The lies of the world will do whatever it can to warp your mind and keep you from seeing just how special you are to Him.  His love give life light.  It is not temporary.  His love last forever.
