I have established what prayer is, but what is restorative prayer? Restorative Prayer is a prayer that restores a person that acknowledges that they have sinned. No one can get life right without God's help. It is trusting that God will keep His end of the promise and make you clean. From there it is maintaining your relationship with Him.
Everyone has outstanding qualities, even if they may be buried. At the same time we are all majorly flawed. It is those flaws that get us into trouble. Ultimately we are our own worst enemy.
God has compassion that is displayed in the fact that He forgets our transgressions when we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness. Every sin is against God yet He readily forgives. It is not a process with Him. He forgives and forgets. When that happens, He makes us clean because He is merciful.
God's judgment gives us direction in life. It is our moral compass to direct us when we are in hard or confusing situations. We are born into a sinful world. It can be difficult at times to stay focused on what really matters: your relationship with God. We have to stay in His teachings and pray for wisdom.
Restoration comes when God's wisdom is placed into the heart making it pure. God is steadfast, so you can trust that He will restore the soul and Holy Spirit sustains it. You don't have to live a life of guilt. You have the privilege and opportunity to take delight in the freedom that God has given you.
