Justice is where everyone benefits in life. It applies to material and social aspects of our personal life. It is not based on punishment. That is the repercussion for doing wrong. It is about taking care of each other and each other's property. It is about respecting and loving each other.
Prayer of justice going to God for refuge, but it is not about revenge. God will handle the situation as He sees fit. It is not always saving a person's body, but saving the soul. It is okay to pray for protection and justice. It is always good to pray for peace in all situations.
When we have sinned and hurt people in the process, we needs to face their consequences. God punishes us justly because it is based on correction not hurting us. God judges us by our righteousness and integrity. He searches our heart and soul, so it goes deeper than what we can comprehend. His justice is about us finding repentance for our sin.
People that chose a life of evil live a life of disillusion. They have gotten so far from the truth, that we can't see a way for them to find it. It takes prayer. Only God can get to their hearts. They have chosen a self-destructive path and if they do not change, then they have chosen where their soul will go. God does not choose for us. It is always our choice.
It is better to follow Christ especially in the hard times. It is the path of truth and rejoicing. It is the path of righteousness. When on this path, even if our lives are in peril, there is no reason to fear. He hears our prayers and that is the key: prayer. Pray through everything, not just when you have been wronged and need justice.
