Discipleship

The people adopted into Jesus' family are blessed beyond comprehension.  They will eat with God in His kingdom one day.  Jesus gave us all a personalized invitation and gave them clear directions.  However, most people reject the invitation for their own reasons.  Some people kept it, but do not want to follow the directions.  They end up getting lost.  Some found their way back, but most do not.  For those whom accept the invitation and followed the directions, it doesn't matter just how unworthy they are.  They are accepted happily.
To get there, you have to follow Jesus.  This is discipleship when you do exactly as He directs and teach others the way despite the obstacles and distractions.  He has to come before your job, society, family, and even your own life.  It can be a painful life of sacrifice at times, but the reward is worth it.  It requires self evaluation to establish healthy boundaries and know yourself.  It is your choice to live your life daily for Him or not.  It is not a decision that you can turn back from.
