Prayer of Dignity

 

    Dignity is a state of worth.  It is known in how you compose yourself and the manner in which you handle life.  None of us are perfect, but you can tell when a person has purpose, a cause, and a healthy self-esteem.  Dignity is not pride.  It is knowing your self worth.  You find that in knowing your worth to God.

    God's glory is above all things.  It is above all of his creations including Heaven.  When you recognize that, then your praise should come naturally.  He created each of us out of love and knows each of us by name.  He knows your voice from everyone else's voices.  

    God created you in His image.  That also gives us an idea of what to expect when we meet Him face to face.  Everyone will meet Him at least once face to face.  You can see Him now when you look around at all of His creation.  It can change your perspective of the day.

    God deserves to be recognized for His glory.  When we put Him in the proper perspective, then dignity begins to fall into place.  His name is majestic.  Do you just say His name or do you feel His name when you proclaim it?  He reigns over Heaven and Earth.  He reigns over life.  Do you recognize that as truth?  The answer to these questions and a self-evaluation will give you an idea of where you stand in dignity.
