Prayer of Mercy

Prayer is a conversation with God.  You need different things when you pray: forgiveness, mercy, healing, connection with God, attitude realignment, or something else.  Today I am focusing on the mercy aspect.  Mercy is a personal characteristic of caring for the needs of other people.  God created this characteristic, so He is the perfecter of it.  He can give it to you, the ability to you, or put someone in your life to show you mercy.
When you have done something wrong (sinned) and you know it, it does not necessarily mean you know how to deal with the fall out.  There are always consequences and God's wrath is the most severe, but dealing with people is also a consequence.  When you face your sin it is important to go to God about it humbly and ask for mercy, but don't stop there.
Ask God for healing and the strength not to repeat the sin.  When a person faces their sin, the soul is in agony and it can affect the person psychologically.  Sometimes it is because the consequences are severe, but sometimes it is hurting over the memory.
It is okay to cry.  Tears release toxins from the body that can help your body and soul to heal.  Embrace the state that you are in and go to God to seek healing instead of just wallowing in it.  There is no moving on or healing in stewing in self pity.
When you turn to God in your weaknesses, then you are allowing Him to show you mercy and teach you strength training (spiritual, mental, and emotional).  This will require you to forgive those that have hurt you, who have done evil against you, or that you just don't like.  It is a stage of moving forward no matter how hard every step may be.  It is trusting God to handle that situation and letting your hurt go.  It is coming out of your hiding and embracing life with confidence.

Impossible

Nothing is impossible for God except for Him to break His word.  That means that once you step into His world in faith, you are a save...
