God's Reign

     We have established that God reigns the world.  We have established that it is good and majestic.  With that said, how does that affect you?  He is in Heaven.  You are here.  You know that He controls the earth and weather, but does that influence you?  Who is He to you?  You are the only one that can answer that.

    I think God is marvelous for how He constructed everything so perfectly.  How He provides salvation from ourselves when we have done nothing to deserve it.  He is faithful and He reveals righteousness to us. His Word teaches us how He is involved in our lives.  He does all this because He loves us.

    His love gives the heart joy.  The very earth sings praise out to Him.  Can you hear the music?  Can you hear the animals singing?  Can you sing along with them in joy?  His power is immeasurable, so why not celebrate it.  

    God's reign also involves judgment, but His judgment is righteous.  It is fair.  A Christian is not judges any differently than a non-believer.  The only acceptation is that a Christian has chosen to follow Christ into Heaven.  The non-believer has chosen to live differently.  Their values and beliefs walk them into the dark.  They walk into what they do not believe.
