Benefits of Wisdom

There are benefits to having wisdom.  Wisdom is the quality of having experience (learning from your mistakes), knowledge, and good judgment.  It is having security in your decision, so that you are not second guessing yourself.  It is building on your knowledge and application of that knowledge for the rest of your life.  The philosophical aspect is how best to do this.
Bible wisdom is knowing God's commands and choosing to keep them.  They stay alive in your heart to give you the motivation and strength for longevity, love, and faithfully living out your convictions.  It is trusting God in all circumstances.  That trust motivates you to shun evil.
God gives you what you need to survive.  You are safe until it is your moment for human death.  Then there is nothing that will save you.  You have until that moment to make your decision, but you never know when that moment will be.  It is wise not to gamble with your soul.
It is wise to honor God for your life by giving back the best or first portion of what He gives you.  Today we call it tithe.  It can apply to money, time, space, or anything else that God convicts you to do.  A wise person does it out of the desire to be closer to God.
They accepts God's discipline when it is needed because they understand it is done out of love.  When you gain understanding from discipline is a precious blessing that leads to a pleasant and peaceful life.  We cause most of the discord or drama in our lives.  God is trying to teach us how to avoid that through discernment.
God has given us the ability to judge situations without using our eyes.  Instead, let the Holy Spirit guide you.  He will clear the path for you, so you don't stumble or loose you way.  You are able to have restful sleep because life is not plaguing your dreams or keeping your soul restless.  Wisdom is having confidence in God to take care of every situation and not withhold His goodness.  At the same time, you understand that there is no time or use for laziness and are actively doing your part.
Treat each other well without holding back or hesitating.  At the same time, do not let other people lead you toward evil.  Falling to evil leads to curses.  The humble will receive blessings, but it takes wisdom to discern the situations.  Honor God by asking Him to give you knowledge, discernment, and wisdom.  He will give it freely because He wants you to live your best life.
