God's Blessings

 

    God blesses all of us every day.  Most of us don't see the blessings of life.  The blessings are as simple as the little things that make us smile.  We want to see the big grand gestures.  God does do that for some people, but not because we live in an oversized or instantaneous nation.  It is because He cares and loves His people.

    God blesses us by opening the way.  If we tried to do things on our own, most things would be a failure.  You would be working in vain.  You work hard, but with little soul fulfillment.  Work is only one way to be blessed.  Family is a major way to bless a person's life.  An unhealthy marriage tarnishes what it is supposed to be like, but marriage is supposed to be a life long partnership to take the burdens of the world off of one person's shoulders.

    Children are meant to be a blessing from God.  Some people thank God by ignoring, abusing, abandoning, or aborting them.  Children are to give life to life.  They are not supposed to be treated like an inconvenience, a burden, or bought off with things to keep them occupied.  Think of all the people out there that would love to have children and never will.  They would cherish them above everything else.

    A life without acknowledging God's blessings is a meaningless life.  It may not look like what you saw it in your head when you were growing up, but that doesn't mean that it is not still a blessing.  You may not be rich financially, but that doesn't mean that you don't have a rich life.  Pray over what you want, need, and desire in life.  God will answer one way or another.  Just remember the only way to be completely fulfilled in life is to rely on God for everything without shame.
