Liturgy is a form of public worship normally conducted by Christians. In Ancient Greece it was a public office or duty to be performed by a rich Athenian on a voluntary basis. Liturgy is a fancy word to try to draw attention to a form of worship based on praising God for all His blessings.
Liturgy gives you the permission to praise God how you like. Its emphasis is on evening worship. It is meant to shed light on worshipping day and night. You never have to stop being a Christian even if it may be your 9-5 job. Break free from the chains of conformity and find what works for you. Lift your hands in gratitude and love for your savior.
God made Heaven and Earth. He created you. He took a day of rest to teach us to rest when we need it, but He didn't need it. He is still working. The question we need to ask ourselves is: Are we resting because we need it or because we don't want to do any more? He is watching out for you, are you praising Him for all His blessings?
Psalms 134
