Faith Ministry

It takes faith to serve God.  Faith is what drives and motivates you.  When common sense tells you that there is no point faith will tell you to keep serving in love.  Faith upheld in love helps you care, minister, and touch people's lives.  There is nothing rational about it.  It is trusting God and doing as you are led by the Holy Spirit while telling the world about Jesus.
Faith ministry is welcoming.  It is warm and inviting.  The location and format is not what matters.  It is the people that are important.  It is when people come together to pray and love in an organized manner.  This creates an atmosphere of peace, joy, and comfort.  The stronger the relationships the more people it can attract.
Faith ministries attract people to Jesus.  It works because people see Jesus in you.  In a typical church it is about 10% of the people that do all the work.  In a joint faith ministry it attracts people to want to get involved.  It is not just coming together once or twice a week.  It is getting involved in lives where people are living their lives.
Relationships are the key to faith ministry.  It starts with your relationship with God.  Then the Holy Spirit uses your passion for life to go out and create a ministry or service for the community.  You build loving relationships and before you know it it you have a real ministry coming to life.
Different people and different relationships need different things.  There is no set way to do ministry.  As long as you keep it Biblical, loving, and led by the Holy Spirit then you will be able to reach unsaved people.  It probably wont be easy, but the victories for Jesus make it worth it.

John 13:31-38, Romans 10:16-21, 2 Corinthians5:16-21, Ephesians 2:1-10, & Hebrews 11:1-3
