Adonai

 

    If you believe that God is the creator of this world and all living things, then what does that mean for you?  How do you direct your thoughts and feelings to process all of that?  It can be processed by focusing on one of His names that describes His character: Adonai.  Adonai is the Hebrew word for "My Lord".  It is considered too sacred to even utter the word except in prayer.

    God is majestic in a way that it He produces light: spiritual and physical.  Adonai expresses His beautiful and enchanting nature when He created all living things including angels.  His world and all the living things are beautiful because they are a reflection of His light.  Everything covered in His light is home.  

    What we do with Adonai's creation is mere decoration.  It is how we choose to live our lives that He cares most about.  All He created chooses to obey him except for humans.  He created boundaries that gives us free will.  We have the choice to reject or follow Him.  Either way, He has given us everything we need to be satisfied in life.

    God controls the weather, seasons, animal's abilities, agriculture, and everything in between.  He gives us variety, substance, and purpose.  He provides wisdom, recreation, and the ability to conduct self-control.  You choose how you live and where you will be when you die.  Make sure that you talk it out with Adonai.  Make sure you are prepared.
