A rebellious heart and mindset is part of being human. We internally rebel against things that don't go the way we think it should. It is not something to be ashamed of per say. It is something that needs to be acknowledged, reviewed, and probably repented. If you are rebelling against evil, then you need to do it prayerfully. If it is an internal struggle then you need to turn to God for the answers and the next step. If it stubbornness, then you need to figure out how to break it before it breaks you.
Corporate rebellion is when a group of people or a nation decide that they don't like how things are and decide that they are going to force the change that they want. That is never the best approach. Even if change needs to happen, it needs to be introduced and give people a chance to accept change or time to incorporate an alternative. It can't be all or nothing scenarios.
God loves us unconditionally. He loves us beyond what we can comprehend. The best way we can show Him our love is through obedience to His guidelines found in His Word. You may want to follow, but you don't have a strong leader to show you how. This can be hard but maybe God is asking you to learn for yourself and become that leader. He may be calling you to prevent destruction.
A rebellious heart will lead weak people into sin. This heart will not listen to the Holy Spirit or choose to obey God's Word. The more people ignore God the angrier He becomes. This leader can lead people straight into hell. This leader can cause nations to fall. There are always consequences to rebellion that are never pleasant. Examples of a rebellious heart: Christian marring a non Christian. murder, selfish leadership, idolatry, and more. Consequences could be unhappiness, excile, defilement, and more.
A faithful heart will remember God's kindness and fight against the sinful nature. This heart doesn't forget all that God has done. A faithful leader will lead the nation to confession. This leader faces consequences, but has the goal to restore the people to divine favor and restoration. Deliverance comes from God's love. All we have to do is accept it and praise Him for freedom.
