When you prayer for deliverance, do you believe that it will actually happen? Do you expect good things to happen to you or do you just accept things as they are? These are some of the questions that you have to ask yourself to understand your prayer life and if it is thriving or decaying.
God is good. He keeps His word. If He says He will answer your prayers, then He will. His love is eternal and a covenant of loyalty. He wants you to think about yourself as eternal. That is why He may not respond to your prayers the way you want Him to. His answers may look differently than you expected because He is taking you somewhere you were not intending. However when a soul calls out in distress, He will make His presence known. He will quiet the storm within.
When you allow God to redeem you, then you life changes. Your prayer life has power. You no longer have to drift through life without a purpose. He provides your protection and delivers you from all kinds of evil. He satisfies your needs and takes away a reason to rebel. Injustice will be shut down.
When you have a powerful prayer life, you will see changes happening around you. You are delivered from what troubles you. You are delivered from the darkness within. You are able to love freely. God takes care of those that seek Him and He humbles the prideful. He takes care of the broken and heals them at the same time. It takes wisdom to enter the covenant of loyalty with God.
