We all have an enemy. His name is Satan. Since we live in his corrupted world, we have human enemies too. We are all influenced to some degree. If we weren't then there would be no need for the Bible, boundaries, lessons on relationships, or Jesus dying the way He did. There would be no sin in the world.
How do you navigate on who you can trust, whom is the enemy, and everyone in between? Every relationship has its ups and downs. How do we properly deal with them? It is a complicated world and relationships are never black and white. It requires wisdom and prayer to navigate the murky waters. It is sometimes needs you to humble yourself and putting another over your own needs.
When you are among wicked or deceitful people, then the best way to get through it is to keep your mouth shut. They may come after you in vile ways, but the truth will be revealed in time. It is hard to be around liars. Sometimes their words are sheer selfishness, but other times it is to cause harm. We need to pray for discernment, strength, and the wisdom to apply it.
Here is the hard part. We need to pray for an enemy. Pray that you persevere in doing good and not lowering yourself to do evil to get back what they have taken or to justify yourself. It is not something any of us want to do, but that is why we rely on prayer. It changes our hard hearts. When you do this, then their actions condemn them. They don't need your help to do that. If you live your life for God, then their wicked ways will curse them because of your prayers.
People may wound you: spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally. That happens, but God can mend all the wounds. Sometimes He even takes away the scars. When you surrender the pain over to Him to heal, then the broken heart will mend. The pain will fade away. God will aide you to repair what needs to be repaired. He is there every step of the way.
Psalms 109
