Nun

 

    Nun is 14th letter in the Hebrew Alphabet.  It was developed from the Egyptian hieroglyph of the snake or eel.  It means to continue, offspring, heir.  It is tied to miracles and symbolizes wisdom.  Nun is the same in the Phoenician, Aramaic, Syriac, and Arabic alphabets.  It evolved into the Greek nu (Ν), Latin N, and Cyrillic H.

    God's Word and language has purpose.  It leads to the gift of salvation and the wisdom to understand what you need to understand.  To accept salvation is to make an oath of obedience.  It is not a one way gift.  It is the beginning of a journey that is lit well so you don't have to stumble or trip from righteous judgment.

    Salvation preserves the eternal soul.  When you choose to live in obedience that soul has purpose and will thrive.  That is why we need to go to Him daily to get recharged.  He gives us joy no matter what the circumstances are.  God's precepts become a part of who you are.  You know the difference between right and wrong.  You can't ignore it.
