A Leader's Prayer

Do you know of any leaders that pray?  A good leader will prayer for their people.  They will pray over how best do their job.  They will pray over themselves and the people they love.  Prayer is a life-line for a person in charge.  The more responsibility you have the more you need prayer.
God is the rock, the foundation, of lives.  He is who will prepare you for spiritual battles.  He will deliver, shield, and give refuge for all who seek it.  He prepares you for what you have to face in life.
Life is short.  We all need to ask what we are doing with the time that we have.  As a leader, you have a lot more riding on your choices.  It can be taxing and you will never make everyone happy, so you need to find a way that your actions please God.  He will expect you to take care of all the people that you find yourself over, not a select few.
Why should God care about you?  He has the power to do anything.  People are only one small thing that He ever created, so why did He choose to care about us?  He made us in His image.  That means He gave us a mind to think, analyze, and make choices.  He has all the power, but He us power live our lives.
How does knowing your role in life make you feel?  Does it make you love God more or does it make you angry?  When you get angry think back to where you could have changed things and move forward with gratitude in your heart for all God has provided.  All the good in the world comes from Him.  It is when we invite evil into our lives that things go bad.
God has given you the freedom to live your life.  If you feel trapped, then it may be a trap you put yourself in.  There are horrible things that happen to people.  Evil is present to steal, kill, and destroy all the good that God is trying to give you.  You sometimes have to fight for what is good in the world or sometimes to keep your own mental peace.  The best way is to pray, then lead.  He will bless the leader that goes to Him in prayer: mind, heart, and soul.
