God's Army

 

    When the world seems to be falling down around you or if war appears inevitable, it is a good time to pray.  It is always good to be praying, but if you never were one to pray before, now may be the time to start.  There are forces in this world and the spiritual world that are just stronger than one person.  However, if you are a child of God then you have an army yourself.   You are not alone in this world.

    God spoke to Isaiah in a clear and precise way.  He ordered Isaiah to write His instructions down, so he would not forget anything.  It was about what would happen when the Assyrians invaded.  Back then the Assyrians were the undefeatable army.  When you say them coming you basically knew you would die.  

    God's people had been rejecting Him for generations.  He could not allow that to happen for their own good.   The doomsday scenario for Damascus and Samaria was good for them, but they thought that they were safe because God would never let anything happen to them.  God would not let His people be destroyed, but they would feel destroyed.  It was good for them to feel broken, so that they would pay attention.  

    Don't follow the crowd with conspiracy theories that will lead to a fear based life.  Not everything in life is a conspiracy.  God is holy.  He is powerful and so is His army.  If you have God's army behind you, then nothing should scare you including war.  You may stumble.  You may feel broken, but put your trust in God.

    When false prophets come then can cause discord, but if you recognize them as false, then you can reject them.  They don't have to power to get you worked up unless you give it to them.  Who they are will be revealed eventually because they only see darkness, fear, and gloom.  If you follow them, then there is no future for you.  

    God provides the real light in the world.  Literally, He provides the sun, moon, and stars.  He has lite your way in the dark.  Follow His path to safety.  If it seems hidden, pray and meditate faithfully until it is revealed.
