Future Glory

The past defines us to a certain extent.  The present is where we are now.  It is ever changing.  However, what we do today directly contributes to the future.  If we want the future to be glorious, then we need to put the work in today.
The people without children have a different directive in life than the people with families.  Families are the future, but it is the people that don't have to raise the future that can work harder toward making it better for them.  You can still have joy.  You never have to worry about losing what we never had.  You don't have to be afraid, feel disgraced, or ashamed.
Single people can focus on God in a way that the married and family person can not.  Don't be sad over this.  You are not as divided by loyalties or commitments.  You don't have any excuses to hold back.  God will provide what you need when you need it, including companionship.  Live to His standards, not the standard of people who have never walked in your shoes.  He had not abandoned you.
It is okay to be different.  You don't have to fit into the world's norms.  It can be freeing in a way.  You are not expected to be like everyone else.  Let go of the shame of the past and embrace who you are in Jesus.  Only then can you move forward strong and confident.
Treat God as the head of the house.  He is the Holy Redeemer.  He can take away any of the pain of rejection that you let Him.  He will bring you back to who you were but with more compassion.  He swore a covenant to mankind that promises us that He will never abandon us even when angry.  That is unfailing love because He never breaks a promise.
The peace that you receive from God can never be removed.  In Heaven, you will have your riches, comfort, and peace that go beyond your comprehension today.  Heaven is where you will find your future glory.  Your salvation establishes you and removes your pain.  This is your heritage as a servant of God.  God will vindicate you in any way that you need from Him.
