Jubilee

Jubilee is a special anniversary of an event.  It really highlights 25 and 50 years of a reign.  It is a special celebration of honor.  Jesus is the one that made it where Jubilee was really worth celebrating.  It puts things in perspective.  True jubilee is led by the Holy Spirit.
God is the one that anoints His chosen leaders.  We may go through the order of events to honor or celebrate, but is it God who does the choosing.  You need to be anointed to go out and preach His good news because you are sharing His story.  He needs to know that you will share it correctly, upholding the truth and love.  It is where He frees prisoners from their bondage and restores them to all they had lost and sometimes more.
God's anointing is special because it can heal a broken heart, give freedom, and provide comfort for the grieving.  His anointing sheds His light upon the anointed.  His anointed should display His beauty from the inside out.  It enables the heart to have gladness even if everything is falling apart around them.  It enables praise, righteousness, and splendor.
The anointed restores the devasted and helps the foreigners.  When you treat His anointing with respect and integrity, then he doubles your inheritance.  He treats you like the firstborn even if you may be the last born because He made you holy.  He gives you everlasting joy.  He loves justice, so He will reward faithfulness.  He gives you so many blessings.
What does jubilee have to do with anointing?  Everything.  We need to celebrate our Christian birthday along with our entering the world birthday.  We need to acknowledge anniversaries set in place by God.  Honoring jubilee is a way of putting God first.  It gives the soul delight.  It allows you to grow as a person and be more productive as His servant.

Isaiah 61
