Sin a word that makes people uncomfortable, mad, or upset. It a word that describes the root to every problem. That makes the word a good thing. Once you have the problem identified, then you can find a solution. God is the solution for sin. You should mourn and hurt over sin in your life, but don't avoid the word. Face it and find the solution.
God offers salvation from the sin that consumes your life. He hears every word and thought. He understands you. You don't have to defend, explain, or hide. He knows who you are, but sin does make Him angry. It is the sin that separates us from God and the internal peace and joy you desire. Integrity is overshadowed by personal wickedness. When you allow sin in your life unchecked or unacknowledged, then you are hurting yourself and normally those closest to you. Evil thoughts lead to evil actions that ruin your peace. Justice and righteousness move are far from away. All that can be seen is the darkness.
We live in sin and then wonder why we don't find deliverance from the things that bother us. You become sad and angry with God. Sometimes they are legitimately big things, but a relationship with God is not a one way street. You can't ask for everything without faith or giving Him the time of day. He is good. He will still provide for His people, but He is not a pushover. Your sin testifies against you as you rebel against Him. You have to face that.
Truth and honesty will not be seen in your life until you get real honest with yourself and God. You have to face the evil that you have embraced in your life. You have to recognize where you have allowed injustice to occur. When you shun that evil, then you will no longer be Satan's prey. God fights for His people, but you have to do your part.
You have to love your relationship with God zealously. You have to mourn and repent your personal sins. Then you have to accept His redemption. When you do that, then you can clothe yourself in His armor. This is when everything will change for you. He gives you His spirit and His Word. He promises that He will never leave you. Do your part and you will succeed.
Isaiah 59
