Ezekiel's Prophecy

Ezekiel was one of the major prophets for the Hebrews who later became the Jews.  God gave him visions in 593 BC.  I can imagine he saw what was going to happen kind of like watching a movie, but not a movie you get to chose.  I can imagine to a degree the kind of things he saw from the movies I have seen and my imagination.  However, having a real encounter with God would be take all words away.
Ezekiel was a priest that followed God's Word, but taken into exile.  His name means "may God strengthen or toughen".  It was an appropriate name.  In his vision he saw a massive windstorm coming from the north with lightning unlike anything he had ever seen before.  It was like it was made of fire instead of electricity.  It moved like a living creatures, like a man but not quite.
These things were like cherubim.  They had four faces and four wings.  They had straight legs and hooved feet.  The faces of the creatures were like a man, lion, ox, and eagle.  It was like the replicate of the cherubim on the ark.  They moved straight ahead not wavering.
Their wings sounded like a roar of water.  It was powerful like an army matching.  It was powerful like the voice of God.  The creatures followed the Spirit.  They had a wheel that moved with them.  When they stopped, so did the wheel.  When they moves, so did the wheel.  It was like the wheel itself was alive.
Above the creatures came a voice.  When Ezekiel looked up he saw a glowing man sitting on a throne.  He had brilliant fire of radiance coming from him.  It was God in all His glory.  When He spoke it enraptured Ezekiel.  He fell facedown because the encounter was so powerful.
