God's Reign Part 2

    In Psalm 98 we talked about about God's Reign and how nice it will be.  As we end Zechariah we are going into details about Judgment Day.  God's reign is already in tact, but this day is the end of sin.  

    The Day of the Lord will look like evil has won.  All the worst things you can image will be happening.  There will be an earthquake like the world has never experienced before.  It will literally split the world.  There will be light from any source.  It will feel like evening in the middle of the day.  It will be summer and winter.  

    Jerusalem seems to be the only place that will survive.  It is secure, but this Jerusalem is not the city we know and love.  It is Heaven.  Everywhere will have great panic.  Fear will be a plague as God's curse consumes.  People will be fighting each other everywhere.  Even the animals will be paying the price of sin's acceptance curse.  

    All that are not the remnants will be wiped out.  In the midst of God's curse being carried out, He is still offering the "Living Water".  God's reign will never end. Once judgment is complete, then there will be no sin to corrupt us.  There will only be purity and holiness.
