Parables Part 3

The sower parable is about seeds.  Seeds are eaten by birds, fall into rocky places, start to blossom and get suffocated by thorny bushes, and some fall onto good soil to thrive.  It represents the type of people that hear God's word.  Sometimes it is snatched away.  Sometimes it falls upon hard hearted people that do not accept it.  Sometimes people claim salvation, but when life gets hard their life proves that they are not.  Some people are not willing to let go what they have to experience something new.  Then some people accept it and thrive.  Blessed are those that listen and seek understanding.
We have to give to find abundance in life.  The more we give the more abundant life will be.  It just may not be in terms of money.  It may be in understanding and wisdom.  It may be a closeness to God.  We can't put value on things that come and go.  Jesus reveals the hearts of people.
The weed parable is when a person is fruitful, but Satan comes to place obstacles.  Both have to grow until it is time to reap the weeds.  We have to live among people who will not believe in God.  We can't tear them down.  We have to live a life differently, so it is obvious that we are Christians, not like everyone else.  Their time will come to face their life later.  Why would we want to make it worst for them now?
The mustard seed parable is about faith.  The smallest amount of faith can grow (quickly) into something powerful.  It is the same as the yeast parable.  Jesus is the good gardener that allows us to thrive and grow and find joy.  The angels are the harvesters.  They do as God bids them and will separate Christians from everyone else at the due time.
The hidden treasure parable is about heaven.  That is where life's value lies.  The net parable is about how heaven has caught many people that have faith.  All that are not faithful will be thrown back out into the pit.  On the appointed day, evil and righteousness will be separated by the angels.
Parables are a figurative speech that is meant to reveal hidden truths within your heart.  They are metaphors with one central truth.  The wording affect everyone differently because there are multiple points to lead people to the central truth.  That means that it is personal and meant to be meditated upon.  They will expose your heart.  It can reveal wisdom or lack of faith since they reveal the secrets of heaven because it conceals the truth from those whom reject Jesus who fulfilled prophecies through the parables.
