Woman and Beast

 

    Once the final judgment's were poured upon the world and Heaven's gates closed to any new entry, the seven angels returned and called John over to watch what will happen next.  It was time for the judgment of sexual immorality.  It began with the great prostitute who used her sexual charms to influence how the world events would play out.  

    John's spirit was carried away to the wilderness where he saw the woman (great prostitute) sitting upon a scarlet beast.  This beast had blasphemy written all over him.  He had seven heads and 10 horns.   The woman was dressed in scarlet adorned in expensive and lovely jewelry.  She carried a golden cup filled with all her impurities.

    She was punished according to the sins that were listed on her forehead for all to see: "Babylon the Great, the Mother of Prostitutes and all the Detestable Things of the Earth".  The woman was drunk oh the blood of the saints (martyrs).  The sight of her astonished John.

    Her big sin was relishing in the demise of God's faithful followers.  She will spend eternity burning for her love of hate and pain.  She burns because she followed Satan faithfully.  the 10 horns are her destruction as they devour her flesh and she burns in fire.  

    The beast is no more.  It would not survive.  It will be destroyed in the abyss along with everyone who is not in the book of life.  It takes wisdom to understand.  The seven heads are mountains on which the woman ruled over the leaders.  When this was written, five had fallen, one was in control for a little while, and one was to come.  The beast itself was the eighth king, but belongs to the seventh king (leader) and would go to destruction (eternal fire).

    The 10 horns are rulers who have not received power at this time.  They will have control for one hour before it is given to the beast (Satan).  They will rule below the beast for 42 months.  Together they will wage war against Jesus who will be victorious.  The beast will have power until the moment God's Word is fulfilled.  This is Jesus' second coming.  He brings with him the chosen, faithful, and called followers.
