Purpose of Patience

Patience has a purpose.  It allows you to live a more Christlike manner.  It cuts some stress out of your life.  It is a good tool to settling disputes.  If you wait on God's timing, then you can do anything.  Patience is action is aa skill of learned waiting.
Some perks to getting patience is that it will save you from mistakes.  God is interested in every aspect of your life.  That includes your time, energy, and motivation.  If you allow Him to be a part of all of your life, then you are set up for success.  This success may not look like the success of the world, but you will have all you need in the world and peace in your heart.
Patience determines your successes and failures in life: sports, finances, home, marriage, children, war, or hobbies.  Mistakes happen, but mistakes caused by impatience can have lasting affects your and other people.  Prayer and patience together is powerful way to work on growing and maintaining your patience.
God can't direct us if we are not patient enough to listen.  If we ignore God's voice, then we miss out on our purpose in life.  Living your life to the fullest is vital.  That means having desires that are in align with the Holy Spirit.  He speaks to you individually and personally.  You have to be humble to hear and really listen.  Otherwise you will just do your own thing and that is not living life to the fullest.
The clock does run out eventually.  There is no reason to miss opportunities that God is giving you.  Allow God to work the best in your life.  When you rely on Him for all your wants, needs, and desires then you discover joy and peace.
Make sure that you listen to his guidance over the advice of other people.  They don't have the intel that He does.  He knows aspects that they can't see.  However, it is good to have people that care enough to try to give you honest and good advice.
Going at life alone is a mistake that you will be sorry about.  It is costly and makes you the loser because God created us to need each other.  You can be selective about who you allow in your life, but don't be so independent that you isolate yourself.  It will make you impatient with people.
God knows you.  He knows your life.  He knows your mind and heart.  He knows what you need and don't need.  That is why living on His schedule is always best.  There is wisdom in following Him.  Following God removes impetuous decisions based on feelings or moods.
Trust the Holy Spirit to show you how to have strong and impactful decisions that leave a good impression on the world.  Trust God to give you comfort. Have an open mind to what Jesus is telling us in God's Word.
Practice patience daily and you will know God's voice.  Patience is hope in action.  That means that you put everything on your trust and faith in God.  If you question something, then it is best to stop and wait until it becomes clear.
