Dinosaurs were created on day six with all other animals that covered the earth. We do not know exactly when they went extinct, but we do have an idea on the time frame. According to how the fossilized we know that the majority died off in the flood. What we do not know is if any made it on the ark.
The fossils show us that they were buried with fish. The way their backs are arched in all the fossils indicate that they drowned. It was not a natural position. They got buried quickly under the soot and the changing earth as the flood changed everything which is how they were able to fossilize. Their fossils tell the story about the flood.
In the Bible they were not called dinosaur. They were monstrous beings or creatures. It was Sir Richard Owen that gave them the name dinosaurs in the 1800s. Job called them Behemoth. Behemoth is Hebrew for beast of beast indicating their massive size. Some may have been called Leviathan. The Bible indicates Leviathan as sea monsters, so sea dinosaurs?
The massive dinosaurs would never have fit in the ark, but the smaller ones could have. Their eggs could have been put in the ark too. That means that Noah could have taken about 100 dinosaurs out of about 600 animals along with food and water for them all to survive. He had made the ark stable. It did hold up to everything it faced.
When it comes to science to support the Bible, people only need to use the strongest evidence. All the largest animals that ever roamed the world are extinct. This includes the trees. They needed more food and reproduction happens a lot slower than the smaller animals. That makes adaptation harder for the larger species. It would have been harder to protect their young too. We know a lot, but a lot is still speculation, possibilities, and unknown.
