Life began in the Garden of Eden. God created the whole world fully mature and ready to thrive, but the garden is where Adam and Eve lived. That is where life was thriving for them because they got to walk with God there. It was a self sustaining environment with no pollution, death, or sullied. Every aspect of life was at it's best and fullest. Every living things was happy and content.
Life was perfect in the garden. All the animals and people were vegetarian. God created man to eat from the earth. It wasn't until sin entered the world that death became a reality. Shedding of any blood is to take life from something, even if it doesn't kill them, life is flowing from their body.
Work was not laborious. It did not require the majority of the day. It was basically doing the bare minimum and knowing that everything would be okay. Work was walking into the garden to find what they needed when they were hungry, taking it, and then eating it. God did not have to make us where we needed to eat because He nor the angels eat.
Food was always meant to be a gift for a thriving life. It was never designed to be something we would have to work for or think about. It provided everything they needed to avoid getting sick or to get well, but there was no sickness. The reality of what food and the earth actually provides came after the fall.
They never had to worry about weather. It was a perfectly sunny with the ideal temperature every day. There was no need for rain because life took care of itself. It was paradise with abundance and variety. It met all the senses fully: smell, feel, sight, sounds, taste, and mental stimulus. There was no reason not to be thoroughly content.
On the sixth day of creation, God breathed life into Adam. That was different from all other living things. Adam had God put His breath into Adam's body making it holy, special, and blessed in a way that nothing else ever will be.
The Garden of Eden is the place where learning and worship began. It is the place where wisdom came naturally. Adam and Eve were able to appreciate perfect beauty with no flaws. It was where destiny and eternity began for people. The spirit or soul was created to be eternal. It was never going to die.
