Jesus' Anointing

Jesus is the anointed one to bring salvation to all people who want it.  Salvation brings healing of all kinds, but always to the soul.  It lifts the burden of life and puts them in proper perspective.  Knowledge  and wisdom come in time, so asking the anointed one questions is a good way to gain wisdom.
When you don't know where to go or how to respond to someone who ask you about Jesus, turn to scripture.  Jesus used scripture to stop arguments, make a point, and to teach.  He used scripture to announce who He is: Christos.  The word Christos means anointed one.  He flat out declared that he is our savior.  That he has the seat of Moses which means that he is set aside for the law.  Jesus did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill and complete it.
Jesus was a good teacher because he used metaphors, facts, and parables to reach the people.  He made sure he connected with everyone in his audience.  He answered questions and never turned people away.  He used scripture to elaborate and prove his points.
Jesus came to this world to help the poor, sick, and broken hearted.  He felt the suffering of those who are financially struggling.  His heart reaches out to the humble in life.  Sin wrecks people and destroys the spirit, so He heals those that come to him for help.  He feels the pain of the brokenhearted.  He knows our pain and agony that was created by sin.  That never came from God.
Sin makes everyone captive.  The reality is that we are all led by sin and don't even understand that we are trapped until Jesus shows us a different way.  Pride blinds us from the truth.  It allows anger, bad judgment, and sin to rule our hearts.
Jesus is the anointed one.  He came to set us free.  He will lead those that follow him to the new heaven and earth where we will no longer be affected by sin.  We will never be oppressed again.  He is the one that helps us escape our bonds and give us deliverance.
