Blessed Strength

You can be happy and strong if you have the right relationship with God.  There is nothing comparable to your relationship with God.  It is a blessing all by itself, but it also produces more blessings.  Some of those blessings may come through trials and tribulations, but the strength and wisdom that you gain make you who you are.  God is the source of all blessings and the secret to a happy life.
God may allow bad things to happen to you and around you, but anything bad in this world is not from Him.  We choose to sin.  We make the choice to listen to Satan.  There are always consequences for those choices.  When you look at your life and the consequences for your choices that led you away from God, you will discover that you had true discontent, misery, pain, or suffering.  However, when you find your strength in following Jesus, you find peace, joy, and satisfaction in life.
There are certain things you just can't do without God.  You will always need His help even if you never recognize that truth.  You have to understand that truth to find salvation.  This is where your Christian journey begins.  Maturity does not happen over night.  It takes years of following Jesus and learning how to walk in faith.
Part of the Christian journey is finding a community church that is Biblically led.  Next, you find where God wants you to get involved.  It will never be every aspect of the church.  You need wisdom guided boundaries to do the small part God wants you to do.  Then you will learn and serve at the same time.  Eventually you will find your own ministry within the community to lead nonbelievers to Jesus.
There are always situations at church where there is a need.  You need God's strength to serve the area(s) He has led you and no more.  You need His strength to survive this world's trials and tribulations.  They will come, so start preparing now in God's Word, prayer, fasting, and meditation.  There will be times of tears when you are in desolate places.
There will be times where you feel like God is not there.  This is why you trust faithfully.  Just because you can't feel him does not mean that he is not there.  Instead of focusing on your feelings, pray for opportunities to see Him working in the situations.  Life doesn't have to be sinful or unbearable.  God gives you what you need when you need it.
