El Olam

El Olam (El oh-LAHM) is אֵ֥ל עוֹלָֽם in Hebrew.  It means "The Everlasting God" or "The Eternal God".  Olam means eternity, forever, or unchanging.  It is like the word was made to describe God.  God is sovereign, unchanging, eternal creator.  He is not bound by linear time.  He is the creator of time.  He doesn't have a beginning or an end.
Abraham uses El Olam to highlight who God is when they make their covenant in Beersheba.  This covenant never changed or ended because God is consistent not because people are.  Abraham planted a tamarisk tree to signify the importance of the covenant.  He reveals that God is the timeless rock for His people.  He is the foundation of faith and true strength.  He is the reliable source of hope, strength, and love because He is always faithful.
When you pray to El Olam you are putting yourself in the presence of true power that ensures safety to the humble and those seeking to know Him.  He never grows weary of hearing from you.  He can make you feel seen, heard, and sturdy.  You can trust Him to take care of you and guide you minute by minute if you are willing to be obedient.  Pray to El Olam to understand mercy to accept and to give like He does.  Pray to El Olam for hope.  Pray to Him to show you how to make your time matter while remembering that He is your home.
