A Call to Arms

We live in a physical and spiritual world.  In the States, we have a much easier life than most countries.  We don't realize for some people it is a battle just to survive.  At the same time because life is so much easier here, we get caught up in our day to day lives and forget that we all have a spiritual battle happening too.
We need to open our eyes to see that people are not our enemy, no matter how much actions say differently.  The enemy is Satan and his warriors.  Our battle is in the home, school, church,  work, and even our own minds sometimes.  If we begin our day dressing in God's armor, then we can be victorious today.
The armor has steps of preparation:
  1. Breastplate of Righteousness
  2. Belt of Truth- the glue
  3. Helmet of Salvation
  4. Shoes of Peace
  5. Shield of Faith
  6. Sword of the Spirit- God's Word
  7. Ear Piece- Prayer to know the Gospel and Wisdom, communication with God
12" For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens. 13 For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. 14 Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, 15 and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. 16 In every situation take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit—which is the word of God."  Ephesians 6: 12-17 (CSB)
