Communication seems to be the biggest issue at places of employment, churches, organizations, and in relationships. The larger the group the worse it seems to get. Poor communication breeds all sort of decisive issues like unappreciation, disappointment, negative attitudes, and more.
The leaders of the first church understood the importance of good communication. Whenever they made big decision they would send out a letter to each of the church locations to be read to everyone. That way everyone knew how to move forward together.
We have the advantage and disadvantage of email, blogs, and television. We have instant information available to us, but if we don't like it, then we can also delete it or change the channel. Back then, it was all done on parchment and taken from location to location by a person whom would read it and move to the next location. Sometimes, maybe it was copied, so that they could have a reference. The average person did not read back then, so they had to rely on others to be honest.
The purpose of good communication is to make life better. It is to remove burdens from those whom are over burdened. It is a way to work through issues to make the atmosphere better. It opens the door for relationships to grow. Communication is meant to encourage and strengthen people. The catch is, it cant just be what makes individuals look good, but being honest about failings. (Acts 15:22-41)

23 "They wrote: “From the apostles and the elders, your brothers, To the brothers and sisters among the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia:
Greetings.
24 Since we have heard that some without our authorization went out from us and troubled you with their words and unsettled your hearts,[e] 25 we have unanimously decided to select men and send them to you along with our dearly loved Barnabas and Paul, 26 who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 Therefore we have sent Judas and Silas, who will personally report the same things by word of mouth. 28 For it was the Holy Spirit’s decision—and ours—not to place further burdens on you beyond these requirements: 29 that you abstain from food offered to idols, from blood, from eating anything that has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. You will do well if you keep yourselves from these things.
Farewell.” Acts 15: 23-29 (CSB)
