Faith Prepared

Faith is a miraculous thing.  It may be the most powerful thing in your life, but it is something you can't see.  It requires work.  You can't have a healthy body if you don't eat well and exercise.  However, you need to think about the psychological aspect too.  You have to have the right mindset to be able to thrive and keep going when things get difficult.  The same goes for faith.  It embodies all aspects of who you are.  You have to stretch and work it like a muscle.  Yet, if you don't take care of your body and mind, then you will never mature.
If you are not taking in your surroundings and just living life, then you will not notice the spiritual weeds growing up around you suffocating your testimony.  Satan will come in and take everything that matters to you.  When you start your journey in faith, it may feel insignificant or like nothing is happening.  It will grow.  Let Jesus sow his field in your life so you can declare Him with confidence to the world.  Let the angels harvest your field, so that you can focus on your faith filled relationships.
The smallest and weakest faith can grow into something so huge.  All your fear can be pushed away by the abundance of your faith.  As it grows, you feed other people's faith and give refuge in Jesus' strength displayed by how you live.
Heaven is a hidden treasure.  It is worth giving up everything in this world to obtain.  However, God is not normally going to ask you to do that.  The value of Heaven and your faith has no number.  Nothing compares to it.  It is something that can't be counterfeited.  On judgment day, the angels with seperate those with real faith from those whom claim to have faith.
The world may take offense when you declare your faith in Jesus.  That is okay.  Jesus' own hometown took offense when He spoke truth.  He warned us all that no prophet will find honor among their own people because of unbelief.  Faith prepares you for what will come.  It holds you firm in the spiritual battlefield.

Matthew 13: 24-52
