Prophecies

Everything Jesus did was for the good of all mankind.  However, God had placed some prophecies to ensure the doubters that Jesus is the Messiah.  The whole point was to leave no room for Question, so Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies and there were more than 300.
Toward the end of Jesus' human life was when the well known prophecies occurred.  It began with how Jesus enter Jerusalem on a colt that had never been sat upon.  As He entered He was treated like royalty.  People laid palms and clothing down before Him while shouting Hosanna.  At this point they thought He would bring them deliverance through war because that is what happened throughout their history.  It is all they understood at the time.
Jesus went straight to God's Temple.  There He fulfilled another prophecy by removing the vendors that had turned the house of prayer into a den of robbers.  He cursed a fig tree to never bear fruit again.  It withered and died.  He used this to show His disciples the power of prayer.  He knew they needed reminding.  It also represented the power of forgiveness.  He taught them how to maneuver when people try to trap you in your them in their words.
You may be correct or righteous, but people with evil in their hearts will try to find a way to manipulate your words for destruction (reputation or more severe).  This is why we need discernment in some conversations.  Lets pray for discernment and wisdom for 2020.
