Why Repent?

People like to put sin in hierarchy, but Jesus tried to teach us the truth.  People labeling sin is a human response to trying to make themselves feel better about the things they have done.  Jesus told us that all sin is the same in God's eyes, except rejecting Him and hurting the Holy Spirit.  Jesus lets us know that we don't get to decide what sin is.  We all have to repent for the things we have done.  There are no exceptions or exemptions.
It is Jesus' right and choice to bless us, heal us, and do good things for us.  We do not deserve it.  He does it because He loves us.  If He chooses not to do those things, it doesn't mean that He does not love us.  There is a purpose.  Sometimes we need to face a little humiliation to be able to see the need to repent of our sins.
If we chose not to repent, then we will never be able to see Heaven.  It is compared to a mustard seed and dough.  It is a concept right now that may be hard to believe.  However, one day Jesus' family will join Him there.  It is growing to fit everyone.  We will see just how grand and intricate it really is.  It is something we dream about, but one day it will be a reality.
Heaven does not have a wide door.  You have to meet certain requirements to be able to enter.  It is so tight that only one person can enter at a time.  It will be shut for all those whom did not make a decision or chose to reject repentance.  You cannot get into heaven by being good, going to church with your family, or desire.  There is only one way: faith and repentance.
