Testimony for Healing

Did you know that your testimony could help other people heal from trauma?  When you tell your story to the right people at the right time it helps you, but it can also help them.  Trauma is tricky.  It leaves triggers for people to get upset or relive the past and it looks like nothing is happening or that there is not reason behind the madness.  A transparent testimony can show people how God worked in your life.  It can bring hope, encouragement, or strength into a person's life as they too draw closer to God.
Jesus healed hundreds of people, maybe thousands, it goes beyond what is recorded and He is still at work.  Yet, most of the time He told people not to tell anyone or go and sin no more.  Timing is vital.  If you do not wait for the Holy Spirit to ignite power into the testimony, then it is just another interesting story.  Jesus defies logic and the boundaries of human concept.  He chooses when to heal a person, but normally He makes us do our part by using faith.  If you have to wait, then you understand the power in timing.
God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are always working.  They do not take time off, clock out at 5pm, or holidays.  They are always there to show their love.  Are you ready to receive it?  If you do not accept their love, then you invite the judgment of Jesus.  He takes no pleasure in judging, but it is just.
You can use times of healing, joy, or judgment in your testimony.  They all have purpose and meaning.  A real testimony brings light into the world.  It is based on scripture, even if you never put a Bible verse in your story.  If you choose to deny Jesus, then it is that very scripture that becomes your accuser.  Use your testimony to help others and yourself heal.
