See God Work throughout History

It is always nice to be able to look back in your own life to see all the little things that God has done.  It is good to good back with gratitude and thanksgiving to God for all of those things.  Now think about all the things that He does in your life that you don't see or grasp as His doing.  Remember all things that are good, pure, and beautiful come from Him.  Now, look throughout your family to see what He has done.  Look back as far as you are able.  It is not that far in the grand scheme, but you will see a lot.
Moses was in an impossible situation, so God came to him again to reassure him.  We need lots of reassurance.  That is why we are compared to sheep.  We get discouraged so easy because we don't understand what is happening or why.  It is not easy to live by faith.  It is okay not to feel like you have a situation under control.  It is what you do with your insecurity that matters.
The Hebrews would not listen to Moses.  They were too broken.  When people are hurt and act unreasonable in your opinion, pray.  They may be broken.  Some people are so broken or wounded that they can't even see that they are broken.  These people had lived in generations of brokenness.  It is all they knew.  People need time to come to God to find true healing and even more time for the ability to truly step out on faith.
The Egyptians saw Moses as a trouble maker.  All he had was God.  That is enough, but sometimes we feel that we need a physical person there to be with us through it all.  Moses was feeling insecure.  He did not have the confidence to confront the Pharaoh again.  It was hard enough the first time, but now with all the negative feedback he was questioning what will happen this time.
God gave him the people that he needed to feel confident.  God had him bring one person from each tribe with him when he went to confront the Pharaoh again.  This took him back into history of how their nation began.  He could see that God had always been faithful.  This gave him the strength he needed to walk faithfully and do as God commanded.  Moses knew that the Pharaoh would not listen, so it made it a little easier.  It was so that the Egyptian people would know who God was when His people were freed.
God gives us what we need when we need it.  We have a own testimony.  We have people close to us to give us testimony.  We do not have an excuse not to walk by faith if we are at the point where we can see God's hand in our lives.  Be patient with the broken, they will get there.
