Law of Money

Did you know that God has laws about money?  He knows how the world works.  He understands how money is necessary like food and water.  In a way more so because without money, you can't buy food.  That is why money can become more important than your relationship with God if you are not careful.  That is why He laid out guidelines to help us keep things in a healthy perspective.
God's law on money is easy to remember.  Give the first of whatever you earn or make back to Him.  He will make the rest work in ways that you can't imagine.  The saying goes you are richer with 90% over 100% of your income.
God understands that there are some that know true poverty.  He hears your pain, hunger, depression, and anger.  If you allow Him to work with what you have, then He can deliver you.  That does not mean you will become rich.  It just means your bills will be paid and you will have food when you need it.
Even if you are struggling, give from what you have. Give your tithe first.  Then give to missions, foreigners, legit charities, orphans, and widows.   Basically, if you have it give it to anyone in need.  Some people worry about people abusing the system or taking advantage of good people.  It happens, but it is not for you to be concerned with.  Once you give it, forget about it.  God holds them accountable for what they do with what they get.  He hold you accountable for your heart motivation in what you give.  No one should go without when there are people whom have more than what they need.
Be careful to observe God's laws and commands.  He speaks to people in the heart using His Word and the Holy Spirit.  We are all in different places, so what applies to me probably does not apply to you when it comes to the personal accountability.  Check your heart and soul to make sure it is listening to His whispers.  Hold yourself accountable for keeping Him Lord over your heart and money.  Decide today that you will follow Him in a fresh or new way.
