A Nation that Yearns for God

     A nation is a complex living entity.  It hold thousands of people with their individual ideas, thoughts, opinions, and personalities.  It is almost impossible to get everyone on the same page and if you do, then how do you maintain it. It is more important to accept the differences and work toward finding a way to work together.  It takes patience, caring, educating, and prayer.

    When a nation does come together and find it in their heart to yearn for God, then the impossible can become possible.  God is the cement for unity.  It is hard to fathom in an unGodly nation full of people that work against God's plan.  It feels like a dream or philosophy, but not tangible.  That is why we need to pray as individuals, churches, and as a nation.

    God is the one that rescues people from deceit or oppression.  He is steadfast and will never leave you, especially when it seems hopeless.  He is the light of truth.  We just have to identify it and start following. Change doesn't happen over night.  It is usually so gradual that you don't even see it happening.  Don't give up when it may feel like God is not answering your prayers.

    A nation that yearns for God is a nation that will unify against all odds.  They trust the changes that He is making, even if it doesn't appear personally beneficial.  Some changes are harder than others, but your soul can have peace.  Put your praise and hope in Him as your savior, then try working with the people that have the nations best interest at heart.  It is one step at a time.
