Prayer for deliverance is a cry for salvation from something or someone. It is a prayer that is calling for cease fire. It could be persecution, problems, troubles, or anything that has been plaguing you. You have reached your end of all you can handle and you need help. God is listening.
God's name has the power to vindicate a person. If you follow Him, people can try to destroy your name, but your character developed by Him can't be destroyed. He listens to your prayers and knows how to handle the situation. Trust that He will protect your reputation or restore it.
God is aware of what is attacking you and is willing to help. Sometimes He waits for you to ask. Sometimes, He has to protect you and you don't even know it. Never think that He doesn't care because He does. Stay faithful because that is your strongest defense. Don't reject His help. Listen and obey His instruction because it is worthwhile.
Sometimes in life you have to make sacrifices for your relationship with God. Those sacrifices can be your comfort, safety, or anything else that you may desire, but God's path takes you in a different direction. In any relationship there is give and take. God gives more than He takes. Are you willing to do your part while still praising His name?
