Prayer Over Betrayal

Betrayal is hard.  It is someone taking your trust or confidence and using it for their gain or to hurt you.  This treacherous act has a long standing repercussions.  It can make it harder for you to trust others down the road.  You may build up walls that you don't even realize you have.  The only way to get through something like betrayal is to pray.  Otherwise you are just rolling the dice on people for the rest of your life.
God sees when you are betrayed.  He knows the pain you feel.  He understands your anxiety and restless turmoil of emotions.  He see the heart of the person or people that betrayed you.  He knows the root of it all and is not dismissive of anyone's pain.  He will listen to your cries and pleas that you send to Him.  He will answer your question.  Are you listening for His reply?
When your heart is in anguish, it is a comfort to seek Him.  He can remove the fear that the world has placed into your heart and mind.  Some people have seen true horrors and this can be a real mercy for them to find shelter in Him.  The violence and strife  of the world can leave a person confused and afraid otherwise.
God has the ability to confuse the wicked, so that their destructive or malice plans fall apart.  He is listening to you day and night.  He never gets tired of hearing your voice or being close to you.  If you feel like evil is coming against you, then tell Him.  Ask for His protection or healing.  He will not let you fall.  His goodness will prevail for eternity.
It is good to trust Him in the good times and the bad.  Just because people let you down or hurt you, it doesn't mean that He will.  He will not be manipulated, twisted, or turned into anything ugly.  You can trust Him to keep to His promises.

Psalm 55
