A New Beginning

Beginnings are exciting and possibly nerve racking.  The unknown is a mystery.  Some of us love that and other people get nervous.  Either way it is a chance to start over.  It is a chance to do better.  You go in with certain expectations and you learn new expectations that are set for you.  You can find it stressful or you can embrace it.  Either way it is a call for obedience.
God is strength.  He has enough strength to give to you to endure whatever you have to endure.  It is easier when you start your day with Him.  It prepares you mentally.  You start the day off in prayer, so you don't have to feel like you are flailing  or playing catch up all day.  You can enter a stressful situation in a state of inner peace.  It prepares you to be searching for God throughout the day.  It puts you in the mindset to expect God to be there.
God established standards.  He made the first statues for the world.  His way works.  We are the ones that add on all the extra rules and standards that cause stress and strife.  Go back to the roots and find peace in His standards.  God removes burden.  His statues don't add onto your stress levels, but they are high.  You are expected to meet them and when you don't it is called sin.  Listen and know His voice to avoid unnecessary hardships.
When God test you it is to reveal to you where you need work.   He already knows so He is not seeking to see you fail.  Your failures show you where you need to put a little work or where you need to surrender.  They sometimes show you where your idols are hidden.
God's goal is to bring you closer to Him.  That can be a little uncomfortable or painful at times because we have stubborn hearts.  The humbling experience is never easy, but necessary to have what you really need in life.  It opens the door for a new beginning.
