Righteous Judgment

Judgment is a part of life. It is where we enforce personal, relational, or governmental rules.  Sometimes it seems harsh.  Sometimes it is unfair when enforced because people have our own story and agenda to enforce.  It doesn't make it right.  That is why we need to pursue righteous judgment.  It is good for everyone involved.
God is the ultimate judge.  He will be the one that judges how we judge.  He has the final say in all matters.  Those that live justly, will not need a defense.  The people that live by their personal agenda or corruption will have to deal with righteous judgment being cast on them.  God hold political leaders and enforcers at a higher standard.
God is the defender of the weak, poor, and oppressed.  It is righteous to take care of those people instead of ignoring, avoiding, or unjustly persecuting them.  It will never go over well with God and He will hold the people that live like that accountable.  He will rescue the needy from the greedy.  The people that take advantage or ignore injustice will not like the consequences.
The people that live like they are the god of their lives will have a harsh reality check one day.  They don't understand who God is.  They don't get that just because they have power in this world, that they will still have to answer to a greater power.  They don't see that hurting God's people will bring His righteous judgment down on them.  If they did, then things would probably be different.
