There is times in life where situations look and feel hopeless. What do you do? Do you rely on your own senses? Do you give up? Or do you pray through the situation? You are the only one that can answer the questions, but it is not hidden from God.
Life can be overwhelming to the point where a person can feel hopeless. When life makes you feel trapped for years or like you have faced nothing but disappointment after disappointment. This takes a toll on a person mentally, emotionally, and over time physically. It can be hard to turn to God if you feel like He has ignored your for years.
Hopelessness is exhausting. It may be instinctual to try to take care of the situation on your own, but until you are to a point where you realize you can't it probably will not get better for more than a moment. It may be instinctual to try and hide or deny your issue. That only buries you deeper into it. It is a poison that slowly and painfully kills a person.
You may not feel like you belong anywhere, but you do belong in God's family. He is the only one that can fix hopelessness. He may send people to help through a situation, but He is the only solution. When you turn to Him, things do change. Sometime immediately, but mostly slowly. The longer you are in the state of hopelessness, the harder it is to get out.
When you feel hopeless pray. Tell Him everything, even the stuff you don't want to say out loud or admit. Let go of any guilt that is chaining you to hopelessness. God forgives and forgets. You need to try to forget so you can let it go. If you do not, hopelessness may swallow you.
You have to allow yourself to mourn before letting certain things go. At the same time you pray and fast and surrender the burden to God. You can embrace His love and let go of the fear of failure or being a fool. Your pain may not go away immediately or ever, but it will get better. It becomes endurable and the distress can disappear.
