Pray in Faith

 

    Life can be confusing at times.  You think you have things figured out and then the next thing you know everything is a mess.  Everything you planned fell through.  Maybe things fell apart and you don't know why.  Maybe you just feel stuck, like nothing is ever going to change.

    Sin has a way of attacking your life and attaching it's heavy burden on your shoulders.  The battle is spiritual.  Sin is really attacking God and using us as its weapon.  We are in over our head and when we realize that the door for change is opened.  When we turn to God and repent, then sin has no power over us at that moment.  It requires prayer in faith to sustain.

    Sin angers God.  He made us these strong creatures with souls.  Our souls are vulnerable, so God made it where we can be stronger when we work together instead of being a lone wolf.  We need a pack, social network, people that we can trust.  We need to be a part of something where we are trustworthy too.  This requires fighting our sinful and selfish nature.  It requires prayer and time spent with God.

    God is jealous for our attention.  Not in the negative way that we associate jealousy.  It is the kind of jealous of where He sees our true potential and our self-destructive tendencies.  He wants to see us reach our full potential and thrive, but He created us with free-will.  He is jealous that we choose the path that takes us toward death.

    When you pray in faith ask for deliverance.  Ask for mercy.  He will forgive all sins and save you from yourself if you ask.  It just requires making changes.  These changes will not feel comfortable or even natural.  It will go against human nature, but it leads to a life that is actually fulfilling.  He can remove the confusion in life.
