Rejection is can be one the most pain experiences in life. You put yourself out there and someone comes back to inform you they don't want you. It can be in sports, work, relationships, or any area in life. I don't think that the sting of rejection ever gets easier. However, how you look at it can change how you feel.
When you are rejected, the best place to turn is to God. But, what if you feel rejected by God? Where do you go from there? How do you recover? Sometimes when we choose sin over our relationship with God, He becomes quiet or shows His anger. It may feel like He is rejecting you, but in reality He is just waiting for you to return to Him. When you choose sin, you are rejecting Him, not vise versa.
God provides the opportunity for salvation to have a relationship with you. He will never abandon you. You have to believe that, so that when He feels far away you don't sever the line of communication. Pray through the hard times. Pray over the areas you feel rejected. He will help mend all fractured relationships.
God loves you. He shows that by forgiving your sins over and over. In return He expects you to try to do better. He expects you to talk to Him. He expects you to work with other Christians. He never promised that any of this would always be easy, but when we work together we become a fortress of strength and He is the power behind it all.
Psalms 60
