Leadership positions may come more natural to some people than others, but it is a position of service and hard work. The leaders are supposed to put the people's interest ahead of their own. They need to know how to delegate and make hard choices. Even the best leaders are going to have opposition in whatever they are trying to do.
You may not agree with your leaders, but you do have to trust that God put them in that position for a reason. It is easy to get angry over bad leadership. It is much more difficult to pray for the leader that you do not like or have no respect for. Respect the position if you cannot respect the person.
When you are under leadership that you just can't get behind, counteract it with fasting and partitional prayer. Trust that God's justice will prevail. Trust that righteousness will win even if it is not a notable victory to the rest of the world. Trust that God will protect you and deliver you from evil. A leader is supposed dispense justice.
Pray for your leaders, good or bad, but also pray over how you will deal with that leader. Pray for God to work through your weaknesses. Pray over your attitude. Try to see if there is anything productive you can do. Dig deep and find a place within where you want to do better and pray.
Psalm 72
